It is recorded at the bottom of the page, that the most users online at one time so far is at the number 70. This occurred on October 22, 2009.

Since AARM has been more or less pretty dead for the last few months, this is a very interesting statistic. I checked to see if there was an upsurge in registrations for the 22nd or thereabouts to explain this, and yet nothing shows up - just an average of around 15-20 registrations per day as before.

Does anyone here have any insights as why, on October 22nd, 6 days ago, we had 70 users online at one time, and yet these boards have moved lately like molasses?

The only thing that comes to mind is that this may coincide with the initiation of the last atheist purge at.... you know where.

My theory is that the number coincides with the amount of Belvedere accounts. He was probably doing some housecleaning or checking messages that day.

Yes, that is a strong possibility. Perhaps Belvedere could confirm that... though, which one do we ask?;)

I'm your source if you want the latest belvedere gossip!

Otherwise, I'd like to point out a minor discrepancy. The bottom of my page reads:

"The most users ever online was 70 on Wed Oct 21st, 2009."

Mine says, "The most users ever online was 70 on Wed Oct 21st, 2009."

It may depend on what time zone you are in.

Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Now, as for a certain Mr. Appleton, he is a no-account fink who lives with his mother. Do not entertain his falsehoods and his pathetic attempts to gain attention.

For that 70 to be all Belvedere, wouldn't he have to be on 70 different computers simultaneously?

I think it counts the amount of separate account log ons during a 24-hour period.

That would explain why it happened close to midnight.
