I was in and out of the NOM before most people even knew it existed. It's a big, money-making scam.
I investigate a lot of weird shit (like I just took a course in Kabbalah and decided it is horse poop and am now into the Reptilians-- which is assuredly more horse poop. Although I still don't know how Bush Sr's. pupils went from round to vertical in a video.) The thing is that I investigate but try not to get suckered. All those years in christian fakery has made me twice shy.
I find the whole NAM to be just retarded, and I'm amazed at how many people believe every bit of it.

it isn't even NAM here anymore, it's just mainstream ... sometimes, under certain conditions, people can even see accupunturists and reflexologists and other forms of energy-healers, and get it paid for on our national medical plan ... I don't believe you have it wrong met. Kundalini is something experience by all people who have an orgasm during sex. Imagine if one could experience such orgiastic bliss all the time - that is the goal of kundalini yoga in its various forms. I can attest to the reality of it from personal experience, but I can not objectively prove it.

Yoga is not a religion but rather a practice based upon a theory. The practice can validate the theory, but this validation is usually only subjective. Thus, it would never be accepted as a valid western scientific theory.
I went through a period for a time, about 12 years ago wherein I was able to validate, for myself the theory of yoga, i.e., kundalini yoga, of the shaktipat variety - maha yoga. There were issues involved that caused me to cease the practice. I will not elaborate on these "issues."

Good Lord, no. I just happen to be attracted to knowledge.... I want to know all kinds of stuff. I've researched some of the wackiest stuff imaginable-- like right now, I'm checking out the conspiracy theory that the real rulers of the world are reptilian halfbreeds (like the Bush family) that are the descendants of intelligent reptilian aliens that came to earth millenia ago.

(The explanation that an Italian nobleman killed a snake in Italy after it swallowed some guy doesn't cut it for me. Since when does Italy have man-eating, huge snakes?) There are some flag-raisers in there, but whatever.
You name the wierdness, I'll investigate it.
I just haven't found very much rational in all those investigations.
But no, I haven't checked out a relion in the hopes of joining it in a really long time.
