Yep, I wonder why we don't see pics of little Israeli girls who were injured by the Hamas terrorists who have been constantly firing off missiles deep into Israel.
Because Hamas use Palestinian young girls as human shields, hiram. They attack Israel who was honouring a ceasefire and then bury themselves amongst their own palestinian civilian population. So when Israel legally strikes back at their base from which they were firing at Israel, they can blame Israel for their own cowardice when they shove their own children in front to cop the full brunt of it. Then they come on TV and whine and cry and get Iran all up in arms about it.
Uh huh, the Israelis are bombing one of the most densely populated areas in the planet....and the only casualties are these so-called human shields.
Sigh.
Tell it to Hamas, they decided to attack Israel.

Yep, I figure tomorrow will just about pay for the Callaway golf set that Santa didn't bring me. I told him to bring cash because I don't trust bank presidents.
Yeah exactly, good call. Tell him you don't take credit, the banks these days are just too dodgy.
lol, and I will accept a bail-out in case I lose.
LOL! Yeah, and tell him $1billion and a nice spa retreat should do it, you're not too greedy. haha

Context matters. I see these events as part of a larger conflict in which Israel is the primary aggressor.

Oh, so when Hamas says that Israel should be wiped off the map and not allowed to exist, you agree with that. I understand you now.

Any regime that wages war against a civilian population should be held accountable for it's actions.
You think those children killed on a school bus were "human shields"?

Unless I am mistaken, the time-determined ceasefire had expired before Hamas began firing rockets two weeks ago. Not that this excuses their actions, but I don't believe they broke the ceasefire.

The Hamas is a pretty horrible group. The Palestinians put them in power, then the Hamas began firing rockets into Israel after this ceasefire, and now the much more powerful Israel is wreaking havoc. There are other parties the Palestinians should be considering to run Gaza.Last edited on Tue Dec 30th, 2008 06:47 pm by Ronson

At the risk of getting you angry, there are some people on this board who consider Hamas as freedom fighters.

They're simply well-groomed terrorists. The fact that Iran backs them and Egypt doesn't should be a major indicator.

Oh, I must have received wrong information or just heard it wrong then. Because I was watching the CNN and Fox news reports and I thought they said that the ceasefire was still on. But the Israeli Ambassador to the UN was on as well and I thought she said it too....maybe I'm mistaken....But fact remains, Hamas just attacked Israel.

I was under the impression you thought the IRA were freedom fighters too....they're not, they're terrorists same as Hamas.

Hamas are waging war against a nation, an entire civilian population. I don't think I misunderstood you, if you support Hamas then you agree with them and Hezbollah on their primary mandate. Which is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and destroy them and deny their existence. That's their primary goal and they're employing terrorism to try and achieve it.

But you don't understand, these "freedom fighters" are simply defending themselves against the evil American empire, and it's willing accomplices, the Jews!

Hamas just fired a few crappy bottle rockets. Israel responds by dropping over two hundred bombs...killing many innocent civilians.
