Whew. I just picked up the new Coldplay album, "Vive La Vida." It's absolutely breathtaking! Any Coldplay here?

I have that album.  I immediately fell in love with the title track, but it doesn't hold up too well to a hundred listens, as it is only four chords, after all.

The rest of it... I don't know... it was listenable but mostly meh.

Meh?! Just... MEH? Well, it depends on what you're into, I guess. I thought it was a very artistic album; "Cemetaries of London" almost rivals "Vive La Vida" in my mind, and "Yes" is a fun song as well. I kind of see Coldplay as the younger generation's Sting or U2.

Have you heard about the 'sequel' that's coming out next week? It's called "Prospekt's March," and it's a complimentary album to "Vive La Vida." Yoda can't wait, lol.
