FM News-Talk 104.7

Carries such luminaries as Maha-Rushie, the Hannitizer, the Sick Twisted Freak (Glenn Beck), Doc Savage (*hurl*), and "Quinn and Rose."  Also a local sports guy, Ellis Cannon, and "Coast to Coast" with George Nouri.  (THAT is an oddball program!)

I love some of the station's on-air slogans, like "NOT saving the planet since 2004" and "broadcasting with 50,000 watts of coal-fired power."  :D

And I was  and :P to discover the Web page has links (drop-down under "On Demand" on the menu bar) for "Babes" and "Thong of the Day!"

Our FM talk station has its own morning talk show that's politics and an afternoon talk-show that's a bit like a bunch of teens, a bit crude, but not to a Stern extent.  They carry Ingraham, O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity, Levin and Savage with a couple others overnight and on the weekend that are lesser known.  They have two more talk-shows that are political of their own locals on Sunday.

The AM talk station has several local talents of which I'm familiar with only one, who also makes appearances on a local PBS show that has some similarities to the McLaughlin Hour.  It's called Donnybrook.  Other than that, the only big national name they carry is Rush.  Interestingly, for a brief time, they carried some Air America shows, at least Franken.

The FM channel's forays into liberalism or "equality" are the afternoon show, that's more politically incorrect - or correct for that matter (while the main guy its certainly apparent leans conservative but with a libertarian twist - He and Glenn Beck are buddies and he's done some appearances on Beck's TV show a couple of years ago), and one overnight show, Phil Hendrie... whom I find a bit annoying because of the voice/persona schtick.

It started back in the late 80's iirc.  It's supposed to be Cajun dialect and was and apparently still is used as a slogan in support of the New Orleans Saints.

Who Dat?  Who's that?  As in, who're those guys?  That "great" team.

lol, the Saints... coming close a few times before choking... ever the losers.  There are plenty of jokes about the Saints winning the Superbowl that involves hell freezing.

"ours" (Cincinnati) is "Who dey?" As in who they think they gonna beat them bengals. So because of their record or lack of one it's "Where dey?" :P
