Here's why Fox News is Number One. It is my only choice for up-to-the-minute news ... especially when I am feeling a bit lonely.

Not to mention a "whites-only" policy...

Apparently so. I guess that explains their nortorious news slant.

Juan Williams.
But I must admit, there is a peculiar high number of blonde women on Fox. Perhaps Rupert Murdoch has a penchant for them?

Yes, it is possible that Murdoch is subject to the Hitchcock syndrome, although I am not too sure if this syndrome has been identified yet.
Just look at all the leading ladies in Alfred Hitchcock's films - the cool blondes.

I don't know if you ever watch TCM, but one of the hosts on there mentioned that Hitchcock said he preferred blonde leading ladies; something about them seeming more mysterious. So I am assuming Hitchcock admitted it.

To be fair, all the news networks choose their female anchors and personalities with a heavy bias towards looks. The only difference being one case of Rachael Maddow who, while she isn't unattractive, isn't someone the average man would watch with both sound and pants at their lowest point.
It's all a function of the fact that Fox is out for a profit and pretty sells. The same is true with the other 24hour News organizations. They all want to put NILFs on the screen.

| News. Samantha Bee on the Daily Show some time long ago did her bit on the whole thing and called the whole thing "News I'd Like to Fuck".
