Good Lord, hiram.... perhaps if you didn't come here and throw out a bunch of insults, people would respond to you in a more positive way.
Do you.... uh.... understand that there is a difference between "Marxist" and "fascist?" One can't be a fascist and a commiefag at the same time. Seriously, you have to choose one or the other of the terms to insult us with.
You might want to note that your signature line, that you attributed to Thomas Jefferson, was NOT said by Thomas Jefferson. Evelyn pointed that out to you, but perhaps you're in such a hurry to fling out another personal insult that you didn't notice.

On the one hand, we have one group being denied rights because of a majority that thought of them as lesser. On the other hand we have... another group being denied rights because of the same thing.
Asside from your bold declaration that said dog will not sniff out prey for a human owner, do you have any evidence or argument to back that up?
A person cannot choose his/her parents or gender. I was born a white man, and there's nothing I can do about that, even if I wanted to. However, practicing homosexuality is a behavior one chooses to partake in...or not.
A couple issues.
Firstly, religion is also something you choose. I'm willing to bet that you would side with most here in opposing, on civil rights grounds, any laws that discriminate against those who choose to eat only Kosher.
Secondly, gays, to all the best information I have, do not choose to be romantically and sexually attracted to the same sex. Personally, if I could be bisexual, I would just to increase my chances of finding a date any given saturday night. Alas, it's not happening. So, understanding that one's sexuality is different from the choice to practice a set of behaviors, how is the right to act according to one's sexuality, where that act does not in any way pose any risk or harm to anybody, not a civil rights issue?
Are you comfortable with the idea that your own marriage could be subject to popular vote?
