Oh mai.... wait just a sec.... I found out the REAL reason that Chicago didn't get the Olympics. It's not because George Bush backed the bid for them several years ago and it's not because Antichrist Obama backed the same bid.... it's because of The Gay. God miraculously moved against the homosexual agenda by giving the Olympics to a country with the biggest Gay Pride parade in the world. (And is also full of gang violence, millions of The Gay, crime, and where children live and die in garbage dumps.)
It's because the Gay Games were held in Chicago in 2006 and god hates gays so he gave the Olympics to an even gayer country. So there.
(btw, Hartline is a psychopath. The reason why he isn't in a mental institution escapes me.)

How The Olympic Games Were Really Blocked From Coming To Chicago. Long before Obama became president, there was a secret weapon at work to halt the impending campaign by radical forces to reward Obama and his supporters with the 2016 Olympics. In 2006, the homosexual political movement, in partnership with corrupt Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, had brought in thousands of homosexual activists to hold the world Gay Games in Chicago.
The game plan of the international homosexual movement and Mayor Daley was to create the physical appearance in Chicago through the Gay Games that would result in selling the international Olympic Committee on the idea that Chicago was ready for a bigger event: the 2016 Olympics. At the time of the Gay Games, former homosexual James Hartline was flown into Chicago with several other prominent Christian activists like nationally-recognized Christian attorney Matt Barber and Dr. John Riggs to make a stand for truth and righteousness in the heart of Chicago's homosexual community during the Gay Games.
While Hartline, Barber and the other Christians were praying and preaching on the streets of Chicago's gay community (known as Boys Town) hundreds of homosexual activists * There was a group of The Gay on the other side of the street, no police in sight, and The Gay were standing around talking the shit with each other and not even looking across the street at the small group of nutjobs busy screaming into bullhorns. See picture below.) surrounded them and threatened them with death. Scores of Chicago police officers were brought in to surround Hartline and the other Christians to protect them from repeated attempts by the violent gay groups to rush in and assault the ministry team.
The photograph displayed shows a portion of the angry homosexual activists who were being held back from rushing at Hartline and Matt Barber while they preached on the street. Because former homosexual James Hartline and the other Christians were willing to risk their lives for the Gospel while the world was glorifying homosexuality in Chicago, the Spirit of the Lord was released upon Chicago's demonic gay agenda in 2006.
The Spirit of the Lord began contending with the anti-christ spirit inside the City of Chicago from that day forward. Thus, when President Barack Obama, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley and their armies of gay activist supporters in Boys Town attempt to square the reasons for their failure to garner an Olympic Bid for the Windy City, they had better recount the day that the Wind of the Holy Spirit was emparted into Chicago in 2006.
The Chicago Tribune reported today on corrupt Chicago Mayor Richard Daley's reasoning for failing to win the 2016 Olympics: "Mayor Richard Daley took one grand shot at landing the Olympics, devoting more than three years to an effort that involved thousands of volunteers and more than $72 million in donations, but in the end Chicago was done in by a combination of Rio de Janeiro's more compelling story line and the quirky politics of Olympic voting."
That's right, folks, James Hartline prayed away The Gay from Chicago. FOREVER. God will not allow The Gay in Chicago any more. Too bad he couldn't pray away all the crime and violence and poverty and sickness that goes on there too.
I especially like the comments to Mister Hartline's story:
The Rio de Janeiro Gay Pride Parade is the world's largest parade and this is why God moved the Olympics to this city. More and more athletes are coming out gay and Rio de Janeiro is more tolerant.
God is not against gay people and he will give more signs in the near future to prove this point.

See for yourself how The Gay rushed at the Former Homosexual and his co-nutjobs and surrounded them, issuing many death threats:

Look, don't get me wrong... everybody loves Superbowls but I worked one and it was one of the biggest pains in my ass ever. Traffic was tied up, the city was full of obnoxious tourists, my job turned into hell, and I worked myself half to death to put money in somebody else's pockets.
But it did bring a lot of business and $$ to South Florida. Same for the World Series I worked. I just never want to do it again.
If you reason on that basis, I don't blame locals for not wanting the Olympics in their town.
But that's not what your conservative reps said. The wanted another country to get the Olympics so it could be perceived as a failure by President Obama. What about the President who backed the bid for the Olympics, George Bush? Why weren't the neocon talking heads going after him instead of Obama? Oh yeah.... because they want Obama to fail at everything he does, even if that means destroying America in the process.
Rio is one of the most crime and poverty-ridden cities in the WORLD. Gangs of violent CHILDREN roam the streets, assaulting people. These children live and die on the massive garbage piles around the city. And there are so many faggots there that The Gay calls the city "Rio gay Janeiro."
But your conservative idols said it's a better place to have an Olympics than Chicago.
And PLEASE tell me how having the Olympics in Chicago would have made your taxes go up.

Thankfully, here, neither of us work in the downtown core of this city and neither really has to go downtown regularly for any other reason ... and we're sure not planning to be anywhere near downtown or any other popular parts of the city next Feb during the Olympics .. we KNOW it will be a zoo ..the two of us are just gonna stay home for 2 weeks

Who pays for American athletes to participate in the Olympics?
The United States Olympic Committee and it is a private non-profit organization. Team USA does not use any taxpayer dollars for the Olympics/International Competitions and Oylmpic Training Centers. In fact , the USA is the only country in the world that doesn't use government funding for their athletes.
Who pays for the games themselves?
Corporate sponsors, TV stations, advertising during the games. Increased tourist trade. Construction bonds.
American TV paid more than $3.55 billion for the rights to air the 2008 games, and advertisers made huge profits from the endeavor.
If the games are disrupted for any reason, insurance covers the losses.
The only way taxpayer money could be involved is if there is a huge deficit between expenses and income from the Olympics and Daly consistently said that not a dime of taxpayer money would go to pay for anything Olympic.
Global sources say the REAL reason the US was snubbed for the 2016 Olympics is because not even Obama is enough to get the bad taste of Bush out of everybody's mouth.
Do you ever research ANYTHING, carol? I guess you're in hog heaven now that fatass Limbaugh and his cronies tell you what opinion you should have on everything. What's it like to be spoonfed everything you believe and never have to check any of it out for yourself?

The foundation of my belief system is what the preserved writings of the bible reveals about Jesus and his purpose on the cross, and the truths that I believe have been revealed to my understanding by the Holy Spirit. Just because you and Candace got duped by some bad evangelicals doesn't mean everyone else has. Our experiences are unique unto ourselves. I cannot share in your bitterness toward Christianity.

I guess I just couldn't see why they'd be in the U.S. in the first place.
We had the summer Olympics just over 12 years ago - and they got bombed by a crazy fundamentalist. And we had the winter Olympics just 8 years ago. Out of 22 summer Olympics in modern history, we've hosted the thing four times already, while the entire continent of South America has never had a shot.
Plus, there's a general international sense that American cities are crime-ridden and unsafe, and, yes, much of the world is pissed off about the Iraq war.
If I'd been on the Olympic selection committee, I wouldn't have considered the U.S. for even a second.

Find out how you got the Bible Carole. That was what did it for me. It had nothing to do with being duped by "bad" evangelicals in my case. I was curious, I searched, and I discovered. That is how I left the "faith."
